Shelia Ann Barnett

Shelia Ann Barnett, age 78, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Sunday, December 29, 1946, to Dee and Bernice Agnes (Reeves) Whittington, at Atoka, OK. Shelia passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at her home in Atoka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School with the class of "65". She later attended ECU where she received her Master's degree. Shelia was a Licensed Professional Counselor. She attended South Atoka Church of Christ. Shelia enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, canning, crafting and loved to travel. Reading was her main hobby, she would read everything on her Kindle and could read two books a day. Holidays and get togethers with family were her favorite things to do.
Shelia is survived by her children, Kelly Hardman and wife Donna of Atoka, OK, Karl Hardman and wife Michelle of Atoka, OK, Kisa Castleberry and husband Scott of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Latosha Safe of Atoka, OK, Tyra Eubank and husband Josh of Mannsville, OK, Tuff Hardman and wife Tori of Atoka, OK, Tess Daniel and husband Wyatt of Atoka, OK, Dakota Hardman of Tulsa, OK, Trace Hardman of Atoka, OK, Dylan Castleberry and Nick Castleberry of Atoka, OK, Andrew Worley of Tulsa, OK, Michael Worley of Tulsa, OK, Jessica Chartoff and husband Jonathan of Tulsa, OK, Chrissy Fonte and husband CJ of Tulsa, OK; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Anna Fisher and husband John of Atoka, OK, Frankie Whittington and wife Neeta of Coleman, OK, Mary Massey of Caddo, OK, Kele Whittington-Howell of Canton, TX; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Grant and Bernice Agnes (Reeves) Thomas, Dee W. Whittington.
