I'm very saddened to learn of Shelia's passing. I had the good fortune of working with Shelia at JPMorgan Chase. Shelia was a lovely lady and I will always remember her with great fondness. Rest in peace Shelia.

What is something you learned from Shelia "Shee"? I learned to Keep God first in your life. Pray every day, Read God's word, Meditate on God's word, and then Share God's word to others. Love God with all your heart and others.

In loving memories of a wonderful, loving, and sweet person, my best girlfriend.

My heartfelt condolences to Mahira, Madeson, Joce, all of Shelia´s family. My friend since we were loud and crazy girls. I have so many memories that I will cherish forever. Shelia was my dearest confidant, encourager, a true friend. Her sweet smile always an inspiration. We didn´t see each other much in our adult life; but, when we did come together it was like we no time had passed. I will miss you in this life but I know you are waiting for me on the other side. Get your rest, baby, you deserve it. I love ya! Glory hallelujah! You have won this race, Shelia Marie.

Your one and only Mahira

Mom today was so tough but I found comfort in knowing you are in no more pain . Watching you pass was so hard but you fought so long and I know you have been tired . They say you lose them twice and it felt that way but I still pressed on just remembering how you never left my side so it was nothing to not to leave yours . You had to know I was gonna be okay and I will mom `. Take your rest , you won the race

This lady right is here is not only my beautiful aunt but she is also my pink sister. When I found out I had breast cancer in May of 2019 I immediately called her and she guided me every step of the way. It wasn´t I a day that I did call her or she called me to see how I was making out. She always told me that I got this and I will beat it. She told me that if she can beat it so can I. I will miss you Auntie Shelia. You will will always be my motivation.......

I met Shelia when I began dating her oldest brother, Melvin. When we married, she became the little sister that I never had. After graduating from Southern University, she moved to Houston, later Melvin´s health brought us to Texas. We became even closer as she supported me while I cared for my sick husband, her brother.
She took our daughter under her wing when she arrived in Houston. She understood the meaning of family. We will truly miss her. Gone but never forgotten!
