Shelley Rae Ford, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on July 15, 1985, in Plantation, Florida, she spent her life in her cherished hometown, where she made countless memories and friendships.
Shelley, affectionately known as "Belle," was a warm-hearted individual, known for her biggest heart and her dedication to caring for others. Her passion for life was evident in her many interests, which included cooking and fishing, and planning unforgettable gatherings for friends and family. She found joy in her favorite music, often filling her home with the sounds of Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, and Kenny Chesney.
Nothing brought Shelley greater happiness than spending time with her adorable son, Jack, who was the light of her life. Together, they created beautiful moments, especially during their trips to Captiva Island, Florida, which she considered her favorite place in the world.
Shelley had a successful career in medical records, where her compassion and attention to detail were admired by her colleagues. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her love for her family and friends. In addition to her son, Jack, she is survived by her mother, Sandy McGowin, and her father, Don (Michelle) Replogle, Jr., who will forever cherish the memories of their beloved daughter. She is also survived by Joe Iglesias, her love and companion for 9 years whom she shared her life with. Also survived by Jack's father, Todd (Corinne) Ford. Also survived by brother, Ryan Beach, grandmothers Pat McGowin and Pat Replogle, Aunts Susan Pearce, Sheryl (Ron) DeRosa, Phyllis (Rich) Soven, Uncle Steve McGowin and many loving cousins.
Shelley will be remembered for her infectious spirit and smile, her ability to think of others, and her unwavering love for those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy that will resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
