Shelly Lynn Baller, 45, of Belleville, MI, passed away peacefully at her home with her family around her on February 8, 2025.
She was a graduate from Belpre High School, 1997.
Shelly was a homemaker, loving mother, wife (of 25 years) & friend. She was an active volunteer for the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, NICU when her children were first born & five years after. Shelly loved raising & watching her family grow. She was highly active in her children’s academics & sports. Her pastimes included swimming, fishing, car shows, college football & the outdoors. Always known for her great smile, never took a bad picture and a talent for writing poetry.
Shelly was preceded in death by her father, Ronald (Wolfman) McCrady.
Shelly is survived by her husband Tony J. Baller, both her sons, Dominick V. Baller, Caleb A. Baller, and mother Deborah McCrady. Also survived by her siblings Derek McCrady, Jeffery McCrady, Tammy Smith, Carrie Anne Crites, many cousins, nieces & nephews & sister-in law Jean Marie Reed.
Shelly had a very generous heart & was a remarkable lady. She will be remembered fondly & missed deeply by all who knew her.
Shelly wished to be cremated with her husband to receive the remains. There is to be a memorial service at 5 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta, OH 45750. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until the time of the service.
