Cathy and I have been so blessed to have known Shelly for 50 years and to have been frequent recipients of her amazing hospitality, her genuine love and her sincere prayers! She was truly one of a kind in so many ways! Our sincere prayer and expectation is that our faithful God will draw very near to Tim, Nathan, Simeon and the rest of the family during this time of grief and remembrance.

I went to high school with Shelly, and her brother Winston. Shelly was sweet, funny, and always seemed happy. May she rest in peace. Prayers to her family in their time of sorrow.

Shelly was the most hospitable and welcoming person we ever met. Our lives were truly touched by her generosity and that unmistakable fervor she had for life.
She had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged at her table. We feel so lucky to have known her, and we´ll carry that warmth she shared with us always.
Our deepest condolences to Tim and the entire family!

Some years ago, we stayed in Tim & Shelly´s home when we drove from SW Iowa to the Bristol NASCAR race. They were so kind and hospitable and I kept up with Shelly through FB. So shocked to see of her passing. I am glad the family can take comfort in knowing they will see her again one day. Roger and Sharon Sorensen

We have fond memories of time spent with Shelly. She and Tim welcomed us into their home several years ago. Then they came down to Florida to visit us. Such great times together, dancing and laughing and playing cards. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Many years ago when we lived close to each other, we would often take long bike rides all the way from our homes over to the airport. I cherish memories made with Shelly. Who could not admire her as a mother and grandmother and loving wife. I pray for Tim and her family as they learn to live life without her. ...Ann Young
