Shelly Janeski Obituary
Shelly A. Janeski, 63, passed away on September 19, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Shelly was born in Amsterdam on January 17, 1962. She graduated from Amsterdam High School and enjoyed a long career as a medical receptionist. She was a devoted friend and will be missed by many.
She joins the love of her life and husband Bill (d. August 24, 2017). Together they enjoyed their many friends, tending to their home, spending summers gardening and boating on the Great Sacandaga Lake.
Shelly is predeceased by her parents Arthur C. and Patricia Shelly Conrad, her sister Christine Majewski, and father-in-law William J. Janeski.
Survivors include her brother Arthur “Michael” Conrad; nephews Brandon Conrad and Michael Majewski, niece Katherine Malagisi, mother in-law Frances Janeski, brother-in-law David Janeski, sisters-in-law Karen Meyers, Joanne Rusnica, Janet Buckley, Peggy O’Connor and many nieces,nephews and cousins
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
