Shelly Lynn Melson

Shelly Lynn Melson, 24 of Stephens, Arkansas passed away March 8, 2007 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born July 4, 1982 in Magnolia, Arkansas. She was a member of the New Home Missionary Baptist Church and was a branch manager for Farmers Bank & Trust in Camden, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her "special angel" daughter, Tanner Lynn; grandparents, Loren and Louise Tingley and W.W. Miller; and uncle, Marvin Whiddon. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Melson and daughter, Taylin Jayce Melson of Stephens, Arkansas; parents, Felton and Karen Miller of Stephens, Arkansas; brother, Keith Miller and wife Lori of Bossier City, Louisiana; father and mother-in-law, Rex and Peggy Melson of Stephens, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Keri Melson of Stephens, Arkansas; grandmother, Laura Miller of Magnolia, Arkansas; grandmother-in-law, Ivory Melson of Stephens, Arkansas; nieces, Kylie, Katie and Kristyn Miller; aunts and uncles, Larry and Jan Tingley of Hesperia, Illinois, Sharon and Bruce Sweers of Hart, Michigan, Terry and Connie Miller of Stephens, Arkansas, and Shirley Whiddon of Magnolia, Arkansas; numerous cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Anthony Needham officiating and assisted by Bro. Pat Fuller and Bro. Rex Melson. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Nicky Whiddon, Dan Carter, Aaron Wilkerson, Scotty Wilkerson, Erick Hollis, and Chance Coon. Memorial donations may be made to Farmers Bank & Trust account of Shelly Miller Melson.
