Sheree, my southern belle, passed peacefully on January 17, 2024. She lived much of her life in Washington, County, Va. She was crowned Queen of the Fall Festival in 1967 and attended Abingdon High School, having graduated in 1973. She pursued and received a Licensed Practical Nurse Degree. Sheree worked in the Federal Small Business Administration and later she loved working with Carol Ann at Chick-n-Little in Abingdon, Va. Sheree continued nursing at NHC National Healthcare in Bristol, Va and then with People Inc. as a home health nurse.
Sheree met her lifetime lover and partner; Richard and they were married in 1980. They raised their son Derek Brown and daughter Jenna Brown Arnold. Her parents Paul Bartee and Roxann Large Bartee Wright; brother, William “Bill” Bartee, and sister Carol Ann “Sissy” Bartee McCroskey Widner.
My girl Sheree lived, enjoyed life! Sheree will be gathering with long remembered loving family and friends.
