Sheri Lyn Darge, 70, of Mineola, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 1, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late Donald Ray Copeland and Barbara Jeanette Mitten Copeland.
Sheri was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tonia Huff. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her deep love of the Lord and her unwavering faith. Her passion for life was evident in her many interests, including gardening, quilting, and art. A voracious reader, Sheri found joy in exploring new worlds through books. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly her beloved dogs.
A member of the Mineola Church of Christ, Sheri lived her life by the simple but profound creed: "Love with all your heart." Her devotion to family and faith was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Sheri is survived by her husband of 29 years, Tom Darge; daughters Angela Prast and husband Ryan, Mallory Albright and husband Tony; sons Michael Presnell and wife Sarrah, Tate Darge and wife Heather; brother Paul Copeland and wife Deborah; sister Sandy Sorbara and husband Rob; and a large, loving family. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Dayna Prast, Alex Prast, Bailee Albright, Bre Albright, Logan Sessions, Kora Sessions, Sadie Sessions, Dawson Albright, Tyler Darge, Kaitlyn Gibbs, Jane Gibbs, Emma Huff, Trevor Decker, Summit Presnell, and Steel Presnell, along with three great-grandchildren and two more on the way. Additionally, Sheri leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Sheri's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Click here to view live stream.
