Sheri Glad

Sherlene "Sheri" Goff Glad, 66, of Ringgold, GA, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born on November 28, 1959, in Chattanooga, TN. Sheri graduated from Kirkman Tech in 1977 and earned an Associate's degree from Edmondson Jr. College. She retired from Spine Surgery Center in 2024. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Sheri was of Baptist faith. Sheri was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother; her family meant everything to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Charlie and Ruby Goff; her brothers, Charles and Morris Goff; her sister, Chris Pinion; and two nephews, Mike Goff and Dakota Biddle.

Survivors include her husband, Erik Glad; her three sons, James Curtis Wood, Adam Wood, and Dustin Oliver; her nine grandchildren, Ashton Oliver, Shayley Oliver, Noah Wood, Luke Wood, Jordan Wood, Adrian Wood, Caleb Wood, Judah Oliver, and Journey Oliver; her three great-grandchildren, A'mariah Pitman, J'Taiveon Pitman, and Ki'Yomi Pitman; her siblings, Roy Goff, Judy Coffelt, and Betty Laurendine; her sister-in-law, Kelly (Roger) Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Robert Goff officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga Memorial Park in Red Bank, TN.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, December 12, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville, GA 30741.
