Sherman William Smith, 82, of Willow, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Malvern Nursing Home. He was born January 5, 1930 in Malvern to the late James A and Gertrude Inez Smith. He was a slicer operator for International Paper and was a member of Victory Assembly of God church in Lono. He is survived by: Sons: Teddy Smith (Brenda Sue), Paul Smith and Bobby Smith all of Willow, Arkansas Daughter: Betty Smith of Willow, Arkansas Sister: Juanita Davison of Malvern, Arkansas Grandchildren: William Smith (Elizabeth), Jill Henry (Jason), James Franks, Amanda Freeman (Tristan) and Michael, Chris, and Courtney Logozzo, Great- Grandchildren: Kameryn Beasley, Brylie and Aubrey Smith, Isaac Henry and Ellie Freeman He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Josie Ray Smith, seven brothers and sisters and one son; Thurman William Smith Funeral services will be Saturday May 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Assembly of God in Lono with Brother Eric Ivy and Barney Fuller officiating. Interment follows at DelaMar Cemetery under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern. A social visitation will be held May 24, 2012 at Victory Assembly of God in Lono from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will also be a Visitation at Atkinson Chapel on Friday May 25, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Guests may register at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net.
