Sherri Roy Barton Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. for Sherri Roy Barton, 39, who died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her residence in Indian Bayou. Interment will be in the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery, Rayne, LA 70578. The celebrant for the services will be Rev. Clint Trahan associate pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Readers will be Kevin Roy and Julie Gates Langlinias. Giftbearers will be Claire and Keeffer Kelbaugh. Surviving is her husband, Jeffrey Barton, of Alexandria now residing in Indian Bayou; two sons, Trevor Roy, of Lafayette, Mitchell Thibodeaux, of Indian Bayou; one daughter, Kellsee Thibodeaux, of Indian Bayou; one step son, Blake Barton, of Shreveport; mother, Barbara Harrington Roy, of Lafayette; brother, Kevin Roy, of Lafayette, and his children Carlee Beth, Martha, Samantha and Daniel, brother, John Robert Roy and wife Patti, of Breaux Bridge and his children Shelbi and Spencer; maternal grandmother, Lena R. Harrington, of Breaux Bridge; mother-in-law, Rita Barton, of Alexandria; one sister-in-law, Carrie Young and husband Brendon, of Alexandria; two aunts, Margaret "Peggy" Roy, of Lafayette, Sister Doris Roy, S.E.C., of Lafayette; two uncles, Kenneth Harrington, of Breaux Bridge, Chris Harrington and wife Pauline, of Colorado Spring, CO. She was preceded in death by father, Daniel "Sonny" Roy; maternal grandfather, Robert Harrington and paternal grandparents, Daniel Roy and Emma Conque Roy. She was born Thursday, January 22, 1970 in Lafayette, LA, Daughter of the late Daniel Roy and Barbara Harrington Roy.
