Sherri Lynn Flint Clendenin

Sherri Lynn Flint Clendenin, 72, of Oak Hill, passed away quietly on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. 

Sherri was the daughter of the late Donald and Jean Flint and much loved sister to her remaining siblings Steve Flint and Regina Toney. 

Her formative years were spent in Pettus, WV, where she graduated from Marsh Fork High School followed by a degree from WVU Tech at Montgomery, WV being head majorette for the marching bands at both institutions. 

Sherri was a beloved mother to her son, Joshua, her daughter, Shannon Ranee, grandmother to four granddaughters, wife and true soulmate fo her husband, Doug. 

Sherri had many hobbies, including cooking, jewelry making, gardening, and especially watching the sunsets at the beaches of Nags Head, NC. She often referred to the Outer Banks as her "second home."

In keeping with Sherri's wishes, she will be cremated and a Celebration Life will be held at a later date. 

Sherri's last wish was that her family members, friends, and associates make it a point to discuss testing for Pancreatic Cancer; an all too often overlooked and misdiagnosed agonizing disease.
