Sherrill Ann Adams Kay, age 73, of Belton, SC, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born December 19, 1951, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert Adams and Louvenia Hamby Adams. She was married to Sammy Lee Kay until his death in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Mitchell Adams and Dean Adams; and sister, Carol Adams Owens.

Sherrill lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and mountains and loved nature, especially flowers and frogs! Some of her hobbies included crocheting, fishing, and playing Bingo. Sherrill was a talented seamstress and an award-winning canner. She loved her family unconditionally and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Lynn Kay (Jason) and Pamala Kay Taylor (William); grandchildren, Jessica Taylor Johnson (Brandon), Joseph Taylor (Melissa), Elizabeth Taylor (Seth Ballard), and Robert Kay Libby; and great grandchildren, Allison Nicole Johnson, Kaleigh Grace Taylor, Brayden Johnson, Alyssa Taylor, Zackery Taylor; 3 great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.

The family requests no flowers and would suggest memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

The family will be at their respective homes.
