Sherry CAVALLARO Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunnyside Mortuary - Buena Park on Mar. 29, 2026.
Sherry Lee Cavallaro, born July 8, 1954, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sherry was born in La Mirada, California, where she spent her early years before later making her home in Anaheim, California. She built a life defined by dedication, strength, and a deep commitment to those she loved.
She enjoyed a distinguished career as an Arbitrator for the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), a role she took immense pride in. Sherry was a fierce advocate and respected voice within the organization, known for her integrity, fairness, and unwavering support of those she served.
Above all, Sherry's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Greg Cavallaro; her son Chad McKaig and daughter-in-law Karin McKaig; her daughter Karly Bosson; her son Corey Cavallaro and daughter-in-law Cristal Cavallaro; her beloved grandchildren Donovan Bosson, Shwayze Cavallaro, and Charlie Cavallaro; her brother John Shubin; and her sister Carol Schaffer. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Sheron.
Sherry embraced life fully and found happiness in simple and meaningful moments-spending time with her family, relaxing at her Colorado River vacation home, enjoying trips to the casino, and traveling whenever she could. She was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of visiting Europe, reconnecting with family in the United Kingdom, and savoring a coffee at a sidewalk café in Paris-a moment she talked about often.
Sherry will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, her sense of adventure, and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she created.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
