Sherry Ann Dixon
04/09/1978-10/04/2025
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sherry Dixon, a cherished resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, who departed this life on October 4, 2025, at the age of 47. Sherry, preceded in death by her beloved father Larry Feller, leaves behind her devoted husband of eight years, Rob Dixon, her son Drew Duncan, his wife Ashtyn and grandson on the way, and bonus daughter Sidney Dixon. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Judge, stepfather Don Judge, sister Angel Bayer, brother-in-law Mark Bayer, and their children Gentry and Avery. As well as sister Star Powers, and her children, Terry, Ashley, and Aaron and grand nieces and nephews Kalaya, Kiamilla, Keelyn and Ezra. Along with stepsisters, Brittonia White (Ricky), Rachel Judge and step nieces and nephews all of whom will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Born on April 9, 1978, in Evansville, Indiana, Sherry demonstrated exceptional talent as an athlete during her time at Faith Heritage High School, graduating in 1996. Her professional journey began at Escalade Sports, followed by a notable ten-year tenure as a Compliance Coordinator at Adidas. In 2021, she advanced her career as a team lead credit specialist for Tegna (a media company), significantly contributing to the organization. Throughout her career Sherry’s work ethic and longing to provide for her family was evident, as she would even work multiple jobs at times to provide.
Sherry loved the Lord, Jesus was the center of her world. She was an avid gardener and baker, and was deeply involved in her community, serving as an inspiring member of Faith Apostolic Church in Carmel. Her love for travel with Rob, a professional saxophonist, enriched their shared experiences. Sherry Dixon will be immeasurably missed, and her legacy will endure in the lives she touched.
