Sherry Reid Obituary
Sherry Reid of O’Brien, passed away on Monday March 23, 2026, in the Munday Nursing Home of Munday, Texas. Sherry was born in Brownfield, Texas to Jake and Gladys Spears. She married Jim Reid on October 2, 1988 in Brownfield, Texas. Sherry served alongside of husband in ministry for several Baptist Churches for thirty-six years. She was always faithful to God and the Church.
Sherry is survived by her husband Jim (Jimmy) Reid, three children and spouses. Bobby Don and Liz Horton of Leland, North Carolina, Doug and Sandy Horton of Aldie, Virginia, Scotty and Julie Reid of Montreal, Quebec and two grandchildren.
A private memorial service may be held later.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Staff, Nurses, and Workers of Munday Nursing Home for the wonderful, loving care they extended to Sherry and our family.
