Sherry Lynn Bishop Spivey 61 of Dahlonega, Georgia went to be with her Lord Sunday, October 27th 2024. Sherry was born January 31, 1963 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents George Richard Bishop and Billie Faye Crone.
Sherry grew up in Lithia Springs, Georgia where she attended high school. Sherry worked in several sectors throughout her life, including banking, automotive industry, and worked 12 years with the Lumpkin County School System, so she could be close to her children. By far, her most favorite job was being a wife, mom and grandma to her grandson Lachlan which she was so proud of. She loved being surrounded by her Boy Family. Sherry enjoyed camping, fishing, and vacationing and spending time with family and friend.. She was known as Mojo Mama for her kind but protective nature.
Sherry was dearly loved by her husband Donald Eugene Spivey, son Dakota Dillon Spivey (Ashley), son Richard Eugene Spivey, sister Emma Bishop Anderson, sister Angela Hartley Maupin (James) brother John Noel Hartley (Reina) and grandson Dakota Lachlan Edward Spivey. She was adored by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sherry is proceeded in death by her brother Lawrence "Larry" Allen Harden and stepfather Cecil Noel Hartley.
We will have a Celebration of Her Life Sunday, November 3, 2024
The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 pm.
