Sherry Rene Stubblefield, age 77, of Kennard passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Sherry was born June 16, 1948 in Trinity to parents, Perry Nelson Elige Strange and Elma Florene May Strange. After high school graduation, she graduated from Lufkin Business School. Sherry loved playing the piano, cooking, traveling decorating and sewing, all of which she was very good at. Listening to southern gospel music was her favorite thing to do, especially fond of The Inspirations and The Chuck Wagon Gang but most of all, she loved Jesus and loved and adored her family.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jeff Stubblefield of Kennard; kids, Lynn and Amanda Stubblefield of Ratcliff, Karen and Detre Dominey of Centerville, Darrell and Lisa Stubblefield of Kennard; grandkids, Meagan and Calvin, Lacey and Brett, Justin, Celia, Josh, Jenny, Cheyenne, Freddie and Nick; great-grandkids, Jacob, Jonathan, Tuf, Kataleya, Elias, Amelia, Gavin, Charlie, Addy, Clay, Ezekiel, Katherine, Bella, Levi, Aden, Braden and Jax; brothers, Kenny Strange of Huntsville, Mike Strange and wife, Jeanne of Cassville, Missouri, Richard Strange and wife, Melody of Caldwell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cowboy and Pam Stubblefield of Centerville, Helen and Wendel Ellis of Centerville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents, Perry Nelson Elige Strange and Elma Florene Strange; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cleveland "Dick" Stubblefield and Wilma Nell Stubblefield.

Funeral services for Sherry Rene Stubblefield will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Faith Tabernacle in Kennard. Interment will follow at the Stubblefield Acres Family Cemetery, 188 CR 4610, Kennard, TX 75847.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
