Sherry Gayle Wagers

Sherry Gayle (Masterson) Wagers was born on January 9, 1959 in Chattanooga, TN., went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2024 surrounded by her family in Temple, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband James E Wagers Sr, both parents James I Masterson Sr. Adairsville, Ga., Ellabelle (Burnett) Masterson of Cartersville, GA, sister Terry (Masterson) Tanturri, brothers James I Masterson Jr, Richard A Masterson, son Maston Wagers.
She is survived by her son, James E Wagers Jr of Wharton, TX, wife Christy, granddaughter Linnie, granddaughter Malaya Wagers of Oakridge, TX, grandson Maston Wagers of Beaumont, TX, son, William Wagers and wife Bridget (Kowis) Wagers of Montgomery, TX., grandson Waylon Wagers, granddaughters, Carleigh Wagers and Kaylee Wagers of Montgomery, TX, daughter, Shannon (Wagers) Sedlar and husband John of The Woodlands, TX., grandsons Allen, Brandon and Evan Sedlar, daughter, Hymie Love (Wagers) Follmar, of Centerville, TX., granddaughter Mykala Follmar, grandson Cole Follmar, sisters, Ramona (Masterson) Weiss and husband David of Houston, TX., Frances (Masterson) Campbell and husband Jimmy of Belton, TX., brothers, Chris Masterson of Conroe, TX and Joseph Masterson of Woodville, TX. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of friends also survive.
Jim and Sherry moved to Conroe in 1987, where they started a small pest control business and to raise their sons. Sherry never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She had and amazing smile and was loved by all who knew her. She loved gardening, fishing, camping, having weekend bar-b-ques for her family and friends, the whole neighborhood would show up. She loved listening to music and dancing. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 1:00pm in Garden Park Cemetery.
