I was so honored to know your Mom and
Dad. Young couple with two little ones move to Boone and never left! Your Mom had heard from someone that I was a good babysitter. So I spent time watching Sally and Dan. My sister Lisa also babysat. And my Mom also watched Sally and Dan on a New Year´s Eve. Your Mom called at the last minute. Lisa nor I were available, but Mom jumped at the chance. I think she just wanted to get away from her own kids. Your Dad was my driver´s education teacher. Poor guy! My Pop had already taught me to drive. But there was a kid who had never driven before. That was spooky for everyone including you Dad. Our paths crossed again at my Mom´s funeral and continued throughout the years. Both your Mom and Dad were so good to Pop for so many years. Your Dad and my husband John were both coaches so they of course had tales to share. One of John´s cherished belongings is a carving your Dad made of the Iowa Girl´s logo.
They were so proud of all of you!!! And their love for their family shone on their faces when they spoke of you. I am so sorry for your loss. There have left a handprint on my heart .
