Sheryl "Sherry" Lee Warbritton, resident of Greensboro, North Carolina, and a former resident of Fort Worth, Texas. age 78, passed away on April 21, 2023, while at the Heartland Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Sherry was born on February 4, 1945, to Rex William Bridges and Vivian Irene Bridges in Hollis, Oklahoma. She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from Haltom high school there. Sherry was married In 1963 and had four children Melinda, David, Darren, and Amy. She was a stay-at-home mom, spending some of her time working part time and the rest caring for her family. Her favorite role was being a mom and later a grandma. She was also a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a Christian believer in Jesus Christ. She spent most of her life in Fort Worth, she lived in Denver Colorado for a few years, back to Fort Worth and then eventually moved to Visalia, California and resided the last few years in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents Rex William Bridges and Vivian Irene Bridges; brother Lynn William Bridges; and son David Lee Warbritton Jr.
Sherry is survived by her son Darren Warbritton; daughters Amy Miller and Melinda Ramsey; brother Robert Bridges; 8 grandchildren: Taylor Ramsey, Kristofer Warbritton, Garrett Miller, Alex Miller, Maci Vinson, Joshua Warbritton, Tyler Vinson and Chase Vinson, as well as many other loved family members and friends.
A come and go visitation will be 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Fairmount Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
