Shevonda Ann Anglin Cowart, 55, went to Heaven to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on January 26, 2026.
Daughter of William and Sarah Hellen Anglin, widow of Rick Cowart, mother of Sarah Brown and Mimi to Kyler & Tate Brown. She was and always will be loved, treasured and missed beyond words.
She was born August 13, 1970, the youngest of 5 children. There was nothing she loved more than being a mother to Sarah, and a Mimi to her grand boys. You rarely ever could be around her without her talking about how much she loved her boys. She also was daughter, sister, mother-in-law, dog mom, aunt and friend. Shevonda was a giving, loving, kind, genuine person—always there if you needed her. She loved going to the beach, specifically Hilton Head Island, shopping, reading and being with her family. She loved Jesus, going to church & singing for the Lord.
She is survived by her dad, William Anglin; her daughter, Sarah Brown; son in law, Kole; Grandchildren, Kyler & Tate; siblings, Danny, Jane (Michael) and Deborah (Loyd), many other family members and a multitude of friends.
She was welcomed to Heaven by her husband, Rick Cowart; her mother, Sarah Hellen Anglin; her brother, Jerry Anglin; her favorite dog, Charlie and many, many other family and friends.
Though here time here on Earth is complete, she ran her race with an incredible strength and So much gratitude. She will always be remembered, loved and cherished.
