Shirley Aenne

I will always hold close to my heart the gift of music that Aunt Shirley gave us. She saw the challenges we were facing and was one of the few in our lives to stand in solidarity with us and support us in the midst of it. She gave my sister and me free lessons for years and would also share meals with my family. I've grown to appreciate the things she taught me that I didn't always understand at the time.
