Shirley A. Barros

Shirley A. Barros, 93, formerly of Derry and Salem, NH died Saturday November 1, 2025 in Bedford, NH, with family by her side. Shirley was born in Methuen, MA on October 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Ernest and Persis (Lawson) Robichaud.

She was an important member of the Digital Cross Connect team at Lucent Technologies in N. Andover, MA. Shirley took pleasure in gardening, and loved travelling to Disney World and taking Disney Cruises with her husband, children and grandchildren. She cared deeply about her family and spent her retirement enjoying time with them.

She is survived by four children; Frederick Beal III of Hilton Head, SC, Kenneth Beal of Lexington, KY, Jacqueline Bourque of Derry, and Holly Barros (and the late Michael Campbell) of Auburn, NH, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters; Lorraine Ciradello of Salem, NH, and Sandra (and Peter) Peront of Hampstead, NH, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Barros in 2013, and by her siblings, Ernest Robichaud, Jr., Warren Robichaud, John Robichaud, Norma Lebel, Richard Robichaud and Robert Robichaud.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday November 6th from 10 - 11:00am at the Central Congregational Church, 14 Crescent St., Derry. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the church with burial to conclude at Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
