Shirley Ann Bliss, 89, went to her Lord on August 1, 2024 in Lynnwood, WA.
Born on March 2, 1935 to Joe and Myrtle Bliss of Kent, WA., she was the youngest of nine children. Shirley's passion was sports. She was a Kent High school athlete and she continued playing tennis, baseball and golf into her adult life.
Shirley and her life-long friend, Joanne, were Husky football season ticket holders for many seasons. After retirement she and Joanne wintered in AZ and attended many Mariner spring training games.
Shirley worked for the Boeing Co. from 1962 to 1992 and resided in Renton, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings and her good friend Joanne Sundquist.
Shirley spent her final years in Lynnwood, Washington at the Cristina's Adult Family home where she enjoyed her new hobby of painting. We want to thank the staff at the Cristina's home for their kindness and professional care.
Graveside Services are to be held August 21, 2024 at 12 noon, Bonney Watson, SeaTac, WA.
