Shirley S. Bryant, age 69, of Greenwood, passed away on October 6, 2021. She was born on November 2, 1951 to Robert Wilds and Virginia Wilds, both of whom precede her in death. Shirley graduated in 1969 from Southport High School, where she made lifelong friends who played Euchre with her every month. She went to work as a dental hygenist before accepting a position with Hershey, making her very popular amongst the neighborhood children. Shirley was an avid Pacers fan who loved to attend Broadway shows, sometimes travelling to New York. She loved animals, especially dogs, and always adopted one lucky dog to share her home with. She was known for her sweet disposition and had an infectious laugh. Shirley was deeply loved by her family and will be very much missed.
She is survived by her son: Robert Bryant of Greenwood; sisters: Sharon Doiron of Bargersville, and Selina Wilds of Carmel; nieces: Kendra (Bill) York of Bargersville; and great nephews: Zane York, Caden York, and Beckett York, all of Bargersville.
Shirley is also preceded in death by her brother-in-law: Robert Doiron.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
