Shirley S. Bryant, age 69, of Greenwood, passed away on October 6, 2021. She was born on November 2, 1951 to Robert Wilds and Virginia Wilds, both of whom precede her in death. Shirley graduated in 1969 from Southport High School, where she made lifelong friends who played Euchre with her every month. She went to work as a dental hygenist before accepting a position with Hershey, making her very popular amongst the neighborhood children. Shirley was an avid Pacers fan who loved to attend Broadway shows, sometimes travelling to New York. She loved animals, especially dogs, and always adopted one lucky dog to share her home with. She was known for her sweet disposition and had an infectious laugh. Shirley was deeply loved by her family and will be very much missed.

She is survived by her son: Robert Bryant of Greenwood; sisters: Sharon Doiron of Bargersville, and Selina Wilds of Carmel; nieces: Kendra (Bill) York of Bargersville; and great nephews: Zane York, Caden York, and Beckett York, all of Bargersville.
Shirley is also preceded in death by her brother-in-law: Robert Doiron.

I just heard of Shirley´s passing yesterday. She was such a shining star - and she will be missed greatly. We met Shirley at Bickford. She was quite the character, would always chime in on a conversation, was very witty, and she had a wonderful sense of humor. I told her she should be the Mayor of Bickford. I think she liked that. We will miss you Shirley. Pat Davis (Bickford Resident) and Kim
