Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was reunited with her eternal companion and best friend on October 24, 2022 at the age of 89.
Shirley was born December 8, 1932 to Carlisle and Florence Hone, in Payson Utah.
She met the love of her life Kenneth Buckway and was married for all time and eternity in the Logan Temple. Together they raised three children. Shirley worked for the Weber State University bookstore for many years before retiring. Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many ward and stake callings. After retirement she traveled and spent time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, her parents, daughter-in-law, MaryBeth Buckway and granddaughter, Jill Buckway.
