They lived on a 60+ acre farm outside of Ririe, Idaho on the Dry bed branch of the Snake River which ran through their property. Mom enjoy watching the Canadian Geese which were there on the river year-round. Bald Eagles were seen often on the tops of the large Cottonwood trees along the river. Mom really enjoyed watching anything with wings.
Her yard was her Eden with all types of flowers. Mom loved her Snowball bushes. Nature really nurtured her soul. Mom had many fruit trees and a large garden where she canned for our large family. When Ardell had Polio and Histoplasmosis, she did all of the irrigating and taking care of the farm and animals.
Mom made a mean Fried Chicken and the best Sage Dressing on the planet. She loved playing games, especially Monopoly with us kids. On cold snowy day Mom would play Fox and Geese with us kids. Mom loved Music and was known for her Yodeling.
After their Divorce, she married Paul Edwin Clements (Deceased). They enjoyed Square Dancing. After Paul’s death she married John William Clinger (Deceased). Together they served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Canada Winnipeg Mission.
