On July 14th, Shirley A Conrad of Hartville passed away with her children by her side. Born in Canton Ohio June 26th, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Julius and Marie Ritterbusch. She grew up in Braunschweig Germany until returning to Ohio in 1953. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Eleanor Seavors-Polack and Betty Lani.
Shirley loved sewing and was a prolific seamstress. She enjoyed knitting making scarves and mittens to donate to children. Working in the yard, planting flowers, growing vegetables and fruits to can was also a passion. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters. She attended St Jacob's Lutheran Church. Shirley retired from Rite-Aid as a manager in 1995.
She is survived by her children, Gregory (Dianna) Conrad, Marsha Schantz, Steven (Susan) Conrad; grandchildren, Zachary Tristan Teague Conrad and Ella Schantz, 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren, sister, Beverly Bishop; 5 nieces and 1 nephew
Celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Cremation of Louisville. Condolences may be shared online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
