My Aunt Shirley always showed me a tremendous amount of love from my earliest days. She gave me wonderful memories of a loving person, and she had faith. Faith and love: what is more important?

Shirley, or Mom Crahan as I called her, was a wonderful friend, she used to send Jeff and I cookies when we worked together in Groton, and even though I moved away from Jeff (Navy called...) and he eventually made it back to Arkansas, we always kept in touch. love you Jeff... Mom Crahan's Christmas card was ALWAYS the first one I would receive, for at least 30 years.. without FAIL.. She "adopted" my daughter, and made her the most BEAUTIFUL quilt, that is treasured to this day. She will be missed, and I am so sorry I was not able to make it to her services. Know that she was loved and appreciated near and far. Hugs to all of you. Sherry.

I have too many memories of my mother to share here, and they will sustain me for the rest of my life. She was our rock, our friend, and most often the example of what we should be. Because she loved nature so much we are having ten memorial trees planted to forever honor our wonderful mother and grandmother. I know she would not only approve but might also have advice as to where to plant them. :) Love forever, Mom. --Joni

One of the things I will always remember about my dear grandmother, Shirley was her sweetness in her personality and her attitude. She had a wonderful and unforgettable laugh and was a bright shining light in my life and vice versa.
