I am sorry to hear about your loss. Your mother was a kind, strong person and I am honored to have helped her in her time at St. Olaf Residence

My deepest sympathy for Jack, Jim and his family...I know how much Jack was concerned about his Mom and her wellness and happiness over the years. How fortunate to have had the joy and love of your Mom all these years; my Mom passed at the age of fifty five twenty six years ago and it seems like yesterday.
My heart and prayers go out to you and remember not to forget to smile....

Regards,

I worked with Shirley at St. Ann's and enjoyed knowing her. She was funny, but serious about the work she did there. In the 70's, she was involved in developing services for people with disabilities. After she retired, she popped up at my bridal shower as a surprise, because she was so happy for me! She was a gracious and loving person. Condolences to her family, and also to Beryl and Julie, her close friends. These three were always together, and it will not seem quite right without Shirley there too. Maureen Merrill
