Shirley Grant Obituary
Shirley Ann Grant, 85, of Whitharral passed from this life on October 21, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Park Drive Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
She was born December 31, 1934 in Littlefield to David Monroe and Lexie “Bobbie” Fay Mitchell. Shirley graduated from Whitharral High School in 1953. She married Bobby Wayne Grant on May 8, 1955. Shirley was a true farmer’s wife and homemaker. She was a member of Park Drive Baptist Church.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, David and Bobbie Mitchell; and sisters, Bobbie Nell Butner and Juan Dell Wade.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby; daughter, Joli and husband John Hodges; sons, Mike and wife Gina Grant and Mitch and wife Joy Grant; grandchildren, Cameron (Angie) Dockery, Seth Dockery, Jared (Mykka) Dockery, Brandi (Austin) McCasland, Derek (Rhonda) Hodges, Spencer Hodges, Jordan (Haylee) Tucker, Spencer Grant, James (Courtney) Grant, Natalie (Russ) Renfroe, and Kurt (Chelsea) Grant; great grandchildren, Cray, Cale, Kambree, Kolter, Abi, Averi, Ayden, Tristin, Lane, Emery, Marley, Isaac, Reese, Makenna, Terra, Natalie, Katie, Piper, Beckett and Callan.
