Her life was a tapestry woven with cherished memories and profound love, where every thread told a story of her unwavering devotion to family and friends. With each passing year, GG embraced life with an open heart, nurturing relationships that blossomed like the vibrant flowers of spring. She had a gift for making others feel seen and valued, touching lives in ways that will continue to resonate long after her farewell.
As we gather to honor her legacy and celebrate her remarkable journey, we invite all who were fortunate enough to know GG to join us in remembering her unique light. The prayer service will take place on November 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. This gathering will provide a moment to reflect and share heartfelt stories, ensuring that the echoes of her laughter continue to fill our hearts.
On November 8, 2024, at 10:30 AM, a funeral service will be held at The New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, giving us the opportunity to honor her spirit and the joy she brought to everything she touched. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:30 PM, where her earthly journey will conclude, but her spirit will soar free among the stars.
As we navigate this profound loss, GG's presence will forever remain etched in our memories. She taught us about love, resilience, and the importance of community. In the gentle embrace of her family, she found solace, and in her legacy, we find strength. Shirley "GG" Holloway, while we may bid you farewell, your spirit will live on, inspiring kindness and love in all who remember you.
