Shirley Ann Kaminskey, 88, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Villas of Jackson.

She was born February 16, 1937, in Cape Girardeau, to Loman and Violet Crites Seabaugh. She and Thomas L. Kaminskey were married September 5, 1959, in Sedgewickville. They had been married 55 years when Tom passed away April 10, 2015.

Shirley worked at the Jackson Exchange Bank and 30 years at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She loved camping and traveling but most of all she spent time with family and friends. Always on the move whether outside with the flowers and leaves or inside decorating for every holiday and change of season. She kept her snack drawer full for grandkids to fill up on goodies.

Loving survivors include three children, Doug (Gina) Kaminskey, Tracy (Melissa) Kaminskey, and Dee Curl (Chris Ragan) all of Jackson; grandchildren and their families: Cammie (Trent) Essner and children Paxton, Finley, and Evan; Chelsea (Kellen) True and children Kennedy, Asher, and Cora; Dustin Kaminskey and daughter Kimber; Dylan (Ashley) Kaminskey; Page (Tyler) Bruce and son Boone; Savannah (Dylan) Whitledge and children Rylee and Ella; and Dawson Curl; a sister, Irma (late Mike) Boyer of Topeka, Kansas; and a brother, Edward (late Wanda) Seabaugh of Columbia, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The Rev. Kevin Mann will conduct the funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 25, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests the Alzheimer’s Association or Dementia Association.
