Shirley Ann Kelley Shirley was born on February 15, 1940, in Lowery, Arkansas. She was the fifth child born, of seven, to Jessie and Geneva Welch. Her older siblings, Helen, Jim, Lorene and Wanda, along with her younger brother, Ken, all proceeded her in death, and she is survived by her baby sister, Barbara. Shirley married the love of her life, William Darl Kelley Jr on October 15, 1960, and they remained a devoted and loyal couple until his death in August of 2017. She had two sons, Keith and Karl, five grandchildren, Karl Jr, Natasha, Virginia, Brandon and William. And six great grandchildren! Karl and his wife, Allisa have two sons, Cayden and Roman. Natasha and her husband, Billy Raduziner, have a daughter, Claire and another on the way. Virginia and her husband, Victor Gil, have three sons, Rowan, Cooper and Parker. Shirley was a working housewife, she worked at Cooks Paint and Hardware until they closed, and she worked for First National Bank of Grants until she retired. She loved to sew and work with her garden, be it flowers or vegetables or the plants she saved from the clearance racks at Lowe's, she was at her happiest when her plants were thriving. She was a champion league bowler in her younger days. If you knew her well you knew her personality was big and bold, with her ornery streak being just as large as the love she carried for anyone blessed enough to have known her. Most of all she loved her family, and she leaves a legacy of love and devotion, and she will always live in our hearts.
