One of the best acting parts was NYPD Blue, Mrs. Cantwell, whose daughter was killed by her husband purely as retribution to his wife. I cry each time I see this scene. (Episode name: Large Mouth Bass)

From Dutchman to Redwood Highway, Shirley Knight was a stunning, riveting actress with an ethereal beauty that never left her. She always drew you deeply into a story and left you with something to think about, enhanced because it was encased in a residual light of her haunting qualities. Sincere condolences to her friends and family. She must have been wonderful to know.

I remember Miss Knight from the tv show Doc on PAXTV. I loved it when she was on! Death can never separate those bound together by the ties of pure love. We all have our memories of her. Rest in Peace.
