Shirley McGoey Obituary
She was born January 27, 1933 in Huguenot, NY the daughter of the late Peter Conklin and the late Alice Rose Conklin
Shirley married Thomas J. McGoey on June 25, 1961 in Port Jervis, NY and they were married for 47 years prior to his passing on June 18, 2009.
She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Port Jervis and enjoyed meeting wonderful people when she delivered their meals.
Surviving are: Daughter: Della Lounsbery and her Husband James of Middletown, NY; her son, Timothy McGoey, PE of Port Jervis, NY; her grandson, Matthew Lounsbery of Middletown, NY; her granddaughter, Katy Lounsbery of Middletown, NY and her granddaughter, Libby Lounsbery of Middletown, NY. Also several nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her brother, Carl Conklin, her brother-in-law: Jack McGoey and her sister-in-law: Mary McGoey.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with a burial in the Rural Valley Cemetery, Oakland Valley Road, Cuddebackville, NY.
