Shirley Jean Hughes Milen, 78, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Shirley was born in Dayton, Tennessee on January 19, 1946 to Clara Ferry and Paul Hughes as the oldest of 10 kids. She lived most of her life in Rhea County and was living in Cleveland when she passed from a short illness.
Shirley was a dedicated employee at Walmart until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and taking care of her flowers. She was loved very much by her family and will be missed until we see her again.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Ferry and Paul Hughes, her infant son Allen Ray, sisters, Iva Lou and Mary and brothers Billy and Stevie.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Bobbie Jean (Brian); sons, Tim (Kim) and Jeff; her siblings, Tommy, Linda, Jay, Debbie and Susie; and her grandchildren, Mandy, Josh, Jessica, Samantha, Shelby and Bubba; along with several great grandchildren.
