John 14:1 KJV In humble submission to the Will of God, Randall Miller Funeral Services and Crematory sorrowfully announce the earthly departure of Mrs. Shirley J. Moore Harris, 83 of New Haven, CT a native of Selma, Dallas County, AL.

She was the beloved wife of the late Willie Harris, Sr.

Born in Selma, AL on September 27, 1941, Shirley was the daughter of the late Eddie Moore, Sr. and Mary E. Callens Moore. Before retiring, she worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. While living in Alabama, she was a devoted member of Wayman Chapel AME Church in Summerfield, AL.

Cherishing her memory are her children: Thaddeus Harris, Sr. (Anna), Gabriel Harris (Lorraine), Willie Harris, Jr., Katricia Harris, and Kendra Harris-Wearing; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

She was predeceased by her brothers Eddie Moore, Jr., Henry Moore, Bobby Moore, and Johnnie Moore, and her sisters Lillie Mitchell, Annie Bean, Ida Marzett, Hannah Williams, Tommie Clay, Maggie Moore, and Alice Minor.

A celebration of Shirley's life and legacy will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Wayman Chapel AME Church, Summerfield, AL. Interment will follow at Pine View Memorial Gardens, Valley Grande, AL.
