Shirley Purkerson Obituary
Shirley is survived by her children Kimbol Purkerson (Darrell)of Nashville TN, Sherry Purkerson (April) of Spring Hope; two grandchildren Cody Wells and Zoe Brooks; her sisters Brenda Jones of Clayton, NC and Sandra Hanshew of Rural Retreat, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
For all that knew her, they enjoyed her sense of humor and endless sarcasm. Her laugh and smile were contagious. She was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall. She fought and loved hard, but her time on earth is done.
A Visitation will be held at her home Friday, December 12 from 1:00 to 7:00 pm. A Memorial service, also at the home, Saturday, December 13 at 1:00 pm, will be officiated by Jeff Wiggins.
