Shirley Ann Rafferty

Shirley Ann Rafferty (Kuba) passed away on Sunday the 9th of November 2025 at 10:20PM, joining her parents and husband. Her loving son Bill was by her side to hold her hand. Her journey back to God's arms began on July 23, 1941 when she was born to Joseph and Helen (Gergely) Kuba in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Growing up in Bradenville, PA, she was the eldest child and older sister to Helen, Jani, and Joe. Along the way she married William Rafferty on May 29, 1965 and moved to Michigan. Together they had two children, Billy who married Lori, and Kevin who married Wendy. She was Grandma to Emma, Megan, Konnor, and Matthew.

She worked at Kennametal, Chrysler, Dell Products, and retired from Gage Products. She belonged to Christian Mothers and Women, and Card Club where she played poker, euchre, and pinochle. She had various other hobbies over the years to include bowling, square dancing, traveling, enjoying good food, and watching Hallmark movies.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-8PM at Mandziuk & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at St. Annes Catholic Church on Saturday at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
