It is with great sorrow we hear of Shirley's passing. She was fun loving and a great neighbor. Past memories of early times at the lake, beach parties, fishing and watching our kids grow.

Dixie Davis, Lamb Lake

Met Shirley for the first time back when our husbands were in the LL bass club. Usually once a year, in the summer, the wives would go on the getaways. While the men fished and etc., the wives would run around, go antiquing, and have a lot of fun. Shirley was always a blast . . she was a pro at antiquing. Bob and I bought a few items at Pete and Shirley´s auction they had before they moved to Florida. We never got down to visit them in Florida but thought of them, especially Shirley often. She was wonderful, already miss her being gone. Great memories, until we meet again!

Shirley was a wonderful OR nurse leader at Community Hospital East where I first met her and worked with her as an anesthesiologist at that hospital and where I first learned of Lamb Lake and subsequently bought a summer place on the lake. Pete was an excellent fisherman and he and Shirley were Lamb Lake to my family. She will be definitely missed by entire family!
Lou Bojrab and family. So sorry for you loss Pete.

Always remember her from my early days at the lake. My dad worked with her at community east hospital. Many fond memories of listening to the Indy 500 and having a fish fry at their home. Even now when I live just down the street at the lake it´s still the Reeds house to me!

Met at cookout on Lamb Lake. We moved in about 2 yrs before they did. Became immediate friends as did our spouses Pete and Dick! We became inseparable. Shirley was our home nurse! For the next 35 years we vacationed together at various places......always with a boat following us. Those years were full of laughter, weird situations, good food and spirits
She taught me how Important friends are. She shared her nursing expertise. She introduced me to new friends that are still so dear to me. She and Pete retired and moved to FL. I miss her sooo much. See you down the road my dear friend MEMORIES
