Shirley Diane Schillaci

Shirley Diane (Glass) Schillaci, "Nene" age 75 of Loudon passed away unexpectedly at her home Thursday, March 27, 2025. Shirley was born to the late Arvil and Hazel (Russell) Glass in Loudon, TN. She retired from Carlex as a line operator. Diane loved a good mystery. She was an avid reader of the author James Patterson and loved movies starring Clint Eastwood. She watched all the crime and first responder shows such as NCIS, Chicago Fire, the Law and Order series and all of the CSI's. She enjoyed her evenings when she got to play cards with her great grandson, Landon.
She loved her family dearly and enjoyed family gatherings. Her home and yard has always been the go-to place for family gatherings. She took pride in being able to be the safe place for everyone to come and celebrate or grieve, no matter the occasion. Her lifelong dream was to retire and move to Mercer, Wisconsin with the love of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, James "Jimmy" Schillaci. Her two sons, Kelo Whitmire and Jason Schillaci. And her sisters, Linda and Mary. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Scott Lunsford; grandchildren and spouses who called her "Nene", Eric and Suesy Proaps, Brigit and Colby Easter, Austin Lunsford, McKenzie Lunsford, Paiden and Matthew Pippin, Madison, Ireland, Lexy and Bryce Whitmire; great-grandchildren, Landon, Mila, Jensen, McKenna, Amara Jayne, Rowen, JB, and Porter. Her precious brothers whom she adored; Doug, Terry and Mike Glass; Good friend, Kelly Nichols and life-long friend Corrine Miller. Special nieces and nephews Tammy Sue, Devin, Tony and Tonya. Special cousin Barney Herrell and wife Carolyn. Many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members that she loved.
Services for Shirley Diane Schillaci will be held privately at a later date.
