Age 88. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Shemancik; loving mother of M. David (Laura) Shemancik, Deborah (William) Farrell, Kenneth (Laura) Shemancik, Brian Shemancik, and Linda (James) Walleshauser; cherished grandmother of Jared, Maxwell, Camden, Zachary & Nina Shemancik, Krystin and Danielle Ferenz, Kristin (Ricky) Nistico and James Walleshauser, Michael and Matthew Farrell; adored great-grandmother of Parker Nistico; dear sister of the late George (Marie) Karas and Marlene Williams; also survived by nieces and nephews. Shirley grew up in Sharon, PA, where she graduated from Sharon High School. She married Michael J. Shemancik in 1956 and lived a full and happy life. Shirley enjoyed being actively involved in the lives of all her children and grandchildren. Her last few years she was surrounded by wonderful people at Montabaur Heights. The family will be present Friday from 4-7 PM at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8440 Main St. (near Harris Hill Rd.), where Prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from Our Lady of Peace Church, 10950 Main St., Clarence, NY 14031 at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Swormville. If so desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.
