February 15, 1960 ~ November 11, 2025

Shirley Skeet, born on February 15, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Waxahachie, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was the beloved daughter of the late Joe and Maggie Skeet. She attended Mansfield Business College and went on to work as an accountant for American Title Company, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

Shirley had a joyful spirit and a heart full of faith. She loved watching Little House on the Prairie, cooking for special occasions, and was especially known for her delicious fry bread and pies. Her warm smile and kind personality brought comfort and joy to everyone who knew her. Shirley loved to talk to people about Jesus and was a devoted prayer warrior whose faith inspired those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Maggie Skeet; brothers, Steve and Joe Darrell Skeet; and sisters, Louise Skeet and Virginia Holguin.
Shirley is survived by her brothers, Harry Skeet and Pete Benally; sisters, Charlotte Skeet, Patricia Skeet, and Cheryl Underwood; brother-in-law, Horace Underwood; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

Shirley will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her kindness, and the love she shared with everyone she met.
