Shirley Smart Obituary
Born on May 10, 1961, in Granite City, Illinois, Shirley was a woman of quiet strength and deep devotion to her family. She found joy in the love she shared with those closest to her and left a lasting impression through her kindness and warmth.
She was a loving mother to her sons, Jason Smart and Joseph Smart, who will forever hold her memory close. Shirley shared a life of love and partnership with her late husband, William Eugene Smart. As a sister, she was a source of unwavering support to Kathy Lloyd, Debbie Lewis, Cheryl Friedman, and David Lewis. She was predeceased by her father, Carl Lewis, her mother, Mary Lewis (Cordia), and her brother, Carl Lewis Jr., whose memories remained dear to her heart.
Shirley's legacy is one of love and care-woven into the lives of those she touched with her gentle spirit. Though she is no longer physically present, the warmth of her embrace and the echoes of her laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
