Shirley Faye Smith, age 84, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.

She was born December 7, 1940 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Orval and Bertha (Bohannan) Plouch. On June 26, 1960 in Exeter, Missouri she was united in marriage to James "J.I." Watching old western movies, reading and listening to music were favorite pastimes for her, but she was also known for her ever-growing collections.
