Aunt Shirley, I know this is late but I been going through a lot. Steve is doing good but I know he misses you. He was very diligent in visiting you at the Nursing home and we even went once with Milo. I miss you, we all do.
You always put family first and made sure everyone was taken care of. We had some good times together and I was happy to see you at my wedding in 2006. I remember you always dressed up when you had to go to the doctor or a special event. At my wedding you wore a purple skirt and jacket and white blouse. Purple is the color of royalty and you were royalty to me.
I had a stroke in February and am slowly recuperating. I was at your funeral in Daddy's electric wheelchair and I saw you briefly because I wanted to remember you the way that I knew you best. You could be silly at times but that's good that you had a great sense of humor because I remember that about you. I love you and I know that you are among family in Heaven with God the Father and Jesus and y'all are catching up. We'll see you again one day. Hugs, prayers and kisses for you and Steve. You are missed dearly.
