SHIRLEY WAGONER, age 77, Richmond, formerly of Cynthiana, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berea. Born in Cynthiana, February 28, 1940 to the late Claude and Ethel Mitchelltree Morrison, she was a former caregiver at Shady Lawn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wayne Wagoner; a brother, Charles Morrison and a sister, Alberta Culley. She is survived by three sons, Kenny (Connie) Burden, Cynthiana and Tracy (Patty) Burden and Greg Burden, both of Lexington; two daughters, Lisa (Lee) Emmitt, Richmond and Gina (Rodney) Hines, Ft. Wright; two brothers, Leroy (Pauline) Morrison, Lexington and Clarence Morrison, Winchester; a sister, Ethel Mae Altar, Paris; thirteen grandchildren and a special sister-in-law, Carol Doan. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Garry Stith with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Wagoner's Chapel Cemetery.
